EverybodySafe.com Team
Jacob Hargrave - Founder | CEO
Jacob Hargrave is the Co-Founder and CEO of EverybodySafe.com, an anywhere-based emergency notification system that allows the user to identity numerous emergency contacts and have them notified in the event of an emergency.
Hargrave built the company from the ground up, taking the original idea and bringing it to fruition. He mapped out the notification process, created the sales strategy and put together the corporate team. He even worked closely with the programmer, laying out how the Web site should run and operate.
The idea for EverybodySafe.com came to Jacob when he heard Mariette Frey’s story of being hospitalized in a new city with no one knowing. He began to wonder how his family would know if something happened to him. (His cell phone was password protected and his family isn’t listed in the phone book.) Upon researching the hospitals’ process for getting in touch with families he realized the lack of available solutions and came up with the idea for EverybodySafe.com.
Prior to EverybodySafe.com, Jacob spent ten years as the Named Account Manager at a Fortune 500 technology company. There, he was responsible for marketing, sales and building business relationships for a small number of high profile and well recognized companies.
Jacob is a graduate of Western Illinois University where he earned his undergraduate in philosophy and law enforcement administration and his Masters of Science in analytical research and law enforcement administration. He currently lives in a conservation community in Chicago’s north suburbs with his wife and four daughters.

Kris Schroeder is Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer for EverybodySafe.com. As Chief Creative Officer, Kris draws from over 12 years of professional experience in multiple functions of web design and management to empower the over-all design, vision and direction of her company’s service-driven product. Kris is also a distinguished ‘Social Media Evangelist,' exercising her networking prowess on Twitter, Facebook, Linked, and similar sites, in order to broaden the presence and recognition of EverybodySafe.com.
But what particularly motivated Kris to devote her considerable skills to EverybodySafe.com was the businesses’ mission and vision to help people worldwide … a rather unique mission, one driven by a clear strategy and genuine passion to make that vision a reality.
Kris's second passion – not unlike her ability to capture and recreate virtual detail in her company’s web-pages – is a profound love of nature photography. As a professional freelance nature photographer, Kris has a particular knack for capturing vivid detail in nature, detail that is otherwise invisible to the eye of the casual observer. When not preoccupied with the pleasant constraints of web-design, Kris spends her free time taking nature walks to capture the beauty of her surroundings.
