What is EverybodySafe.com?
EverybodySafe.com is a collection of services designed to be
your voice.
Emergency Communication: You are assigned a lifelong Membership ID Number and emergency responders use that number to access your emergency contact list. At the same time they access the list, those identified receive a text and e-mail of where you are, what is going on and who to contact. In a life threatening emergency, a phone call is also sent.
Emergency Responders:
- Immediate access to a list of your emergency contacts and their contact information.

- You (or your child) arrived safely at your destination
- Your plane landed safely
- You made it through a natural disaster (hurricane, flood or earthquake)
- You are running late, but everything is fine
- Your surgery went well and you are now in recovery
- An emergency did occur, but all is fine now
Why do I need EverybodySafe.com?
You need EverybodySafe because unlike on TV, those taking care of you do not have a "magical database" that knows everything about you! Many of us think that if we end up in the hospital, our friends, family and coworkers will be notified. Truth is, those taking care of you do not know. They can not know unless you tell them. If you can not speak, then they know nothing but what they can find in your wallet or in the phone book. Take a look at our ID Myth Busting page and see some examples of why EverybodySafe is the responsible thing to do.
How do people know I have EverybodySafe.com?
Plastic Photo ID Card: Keep this card in your wallet or with you to identify you as a member of EverybodySafe. This card has contact information allowing emergency responders to reach out to EverybodySafe and retrieve your emergency contact list while at the same time alerting your emergency contacts (and you) of who access this information and for what reasons. This card has instructions in four languages. You can chose three of them from the nineteen we have available. Chose the languages that suit your lifestyle.
- Vinyl Document Stickers: With your membership, you receive several vinyl document stickers that can be placed on your drivers license, passport, student ID, employment badge, cell phone, bicycle helmet, car window or anywhere you feel they will be seen in an emergency.
Metal ID Tag: A metal ID tag similar in size and shape to a "dog tag" can be worn around the neck, laced into your shoe laces, worn on your key ring or attached to your backpack. This ID tag is emblazoned with our logo, website, phone number, your name and membership ID number. A durable and easily identifiable way to let emergency responders know you have taken the necessary steps to ensure your friends and family are quickly identified.
Do Emergency Personnel know about
EverybodySafe.com?
EverybodySafe.com has been actively educating the 6,000 + emergency rooms in the US and Canada. We are members of the American Hospital Association (who represent approx. 5,000 hospitals in the US and Canada). We have also set up EverybodySafe so that no prior knowledge of the product is necessary to identify and use it. You will notice our Logo is clearly medical and our ID cards and stickers are designed for immediate recognition.
Is my list of information safe?
Yes. All Browser interaction is 128 bit SSL encrypted. All personal information is hidden behind your password and all data exchanges are encrypted. We are routinely certified, our policies reviewed and our website tested by an independent and outside agency. We take security very seriously and have employed sufficient security measures that we trust our own personal information to the site. We are members too!
How do the alerts work?
Once you have subscribed to the EverybodySafe network, you will receive a photo ID card, several document stickers and an optional metal ID tag. It is these items that inform emergency personnel of your EverybodySafe account. Armed with your lifelong Membership ID number, emergency responders will either visit www.EverybodySafe.com or call (800) 399-0295 and enter the number. Once they do so, your uploaded photo appears for them to verify your identity. Should they confirm, the emergency responder is required to fill in some information about who they are and why they are sending an alert. Name, organization, phone number, e-mail and if the situation is life threatening or not. The EverybodySafe network also captures their IP address for future verification and tracking. Once emergency responders fill in the information, they are shown only the information that you chose to share with them. This might be as simple as only the name and phone number of your spouse or as detailed as medical information. The choice is yours! At the same time this happens, an e-mail and text message goes out to everyone you have identified and a copy is sent to you.

The EverybodySafe system is an open system so it is completely up to you. Chose to share as much or as little information as you feel necessary.

Spoofing is something EverybodySafe takes very seriously. We have built safeguards into the system to identify those responsible and we will aggressively pursue action against them. In order to keep the system open to all emergency responders and make it a useful tool for our users, there will be no way to completely eliminate the possibility of spoofing. To safeguard against it, EverybodySafe will capture the IP address of all computers requesting to send an alert and a copy of any and all alerts will be sent to you as the EverybodySafe user.

NO. EverybodySafe is for KNOWN emergencies and not for inquiries. Please remember that any alert will be sent to all emergency contacts as chosen by the member based on alert level, not just the EverybodySafe member
Why does the Terms & Conditions contain a HIPAA release?
Although EverybodySafe is not bound by current HIPAA laws, we have encountered cases where having such a release is handy for your emergency contacts. Some hospitals are overly cautious and are reluctant to share information with even family members. It is because of this that we have included a HIPAA release on our users agreement that will allow those you have identified as Emergency Contacts to receive information from the hospital.
How many contacts can I have?
The EverybodySafe System does not limit the number of contacts you may have. From One to One Million, if you have people that need to know, we encourage you to list them all. Most people list five to ten contacts.
Will all my contacts be notified?
That is up to you! The EverybodySafe System allows you to identify who receives what notification on an individual contact basis. Each alert level allows you to identify who from your list of Emergency Contacts should receive what level of alert. Be sure to read our "Terms & Conditions" to check the limitations.
Can I change my contacts at any time?
YES. EverybodySafe is your personal emergency contact tool. You are free to change any and all contacts as you see fit and at any time.
Can I create my own EverybodySafe.com Number?
Yes, you can create your own EverybodySafe Member ID Number based on our format, which requires 3 letters followed by 7 digits. You will be given that opportunity at the time of account creation. Once your EverybodySafe number has been selected, it will be final. It is your number for life! The format has been chosen to easily accommodate initials and a phone number format.
What happens if I do not like my EverybodySafe.com ID Number and want a
specific number?
